Memorial Website for Mack Kamna

March 9, 1966 to October 5, 2005

This memorial website has been created as a celebration of Mack Kamna's life.  It's a place to go when you're missing him and just need to see that big grin.  It's a reminder that, during his 39 years, he experienced a lot of happiness and love.

His family invite you to visit here as often as you wish and to enter your thoughts, comments, prayers, stories, etc. in the guestbook to share with all of us.  If you have special memories and photos of Mack that you would like to share, please enter them in the Add to Guestbook section.  We have the capability of lifting them into the photo gallery as another slideshow.  Even if you have nothing to say, please sign the guestbook as it helps Mack's family to know he has not been forgotten.

On August 6, 2006, over 20 people gathered at Mack's mother's house for remembering him, sharing a great feast, and watching from the beach as Mack's ashes were scattered into the Pacific Ocean.  Marv Ringen, Mack's good friend for years, brought his plane, which he and Mack had flown.  Marv rigged a method to scatter from the plane's bottom, making it very easy, and took up Linda and Tina.  Unfortunately, the Northwest weather didn't cooperate fully.  A cloud bank prevented sight between the plane and the people on the beach, so the scattering was done by sound with the additional aid of cell phones.  Everyone was a part of returning Mack's remains to the Earth.  The day was a pleasant one, with a lot of love, delicious food, memories, and missing Mack.  His mother and aunt were particularly gratified by the large turnout and the distance some had traveled.  It was a fitting honor to Mack's memory.
